An amazingly delish and a purely delectable side dish in my way. Absolutely a bliss. It goes well with parathas, pooris, pulaos and even simple boiled rice with a dash of pure desi ghee. Comfort food of all times- this is what i call it, because of it's lipsmacking taste. Try this awesome sabzi for any meal of the day. You will want more of it. Happy Cooking !!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton mince 500 gm
  2. fenugreek leaves fresh big bunch 1
  3. ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. oil 3-4 tbsp
  5. salt 1 1/2 tsp
  7. cumin powder 1 tsp
  8. coriander powder 1 tsp
  9. onions sliced thinly 3
  10. tomato finely chopped 1 (ripe)
  11. coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup (for garnishing)


  1. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste followed by the onions.
  3. Saute them until translucent on a low to medium high heat.
  4. Now add rest of the spices along with the finely chopped tomato.
  5. Use a ripe one for better results.
  6. Saute until oil starts floating on top.
  7. Now add the mutton mince.
  8. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  9. After 15 minutes, add chopped fresh fenugreek leaves.
  10. Adjust salt and simmer for 10 more minutes.
  11. Do not add any water.
  12. It should cook in it's own juices.
  13. Garnish with coriander leaves and dish out your fabulous sabzi.
