Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chickpeas 1/2 (cooking)
  2. Chickpeas 1/4 (grinding)
  3. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  5. Onion 1
  6. Tomato 1
  7. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  8. Water 1 cup
  9. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  10. Salt as required
  11. Oil as required

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the channa Dal for 3-4 whistles.
  2. Grind 1/4 cup chickpeas with little water.
  3. In pan heat oil add onion,ginger garlic paste,tomato cook for 5 min interval.after add spices powder.
  4. Add salt now add chickpeas .mix well.pour cup of water
  5. After 10 min add grounded chickpeas.mix well.
  6. Close and cook for 5-10 min.spicy channa Dal is ready to taste with chapathi
