Ingredients to make Bajre ki kachodi

  • bajra flour 2 cup
  • Wheat flour 2 tbsp
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • oil 1tsp
  • For filling -boiled potatoes 4 medium sized
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1tsp
  • Chopped green chili 2
  • Chopped coriander 1tbsp
  • Chat masala powder 1tsp
  • garam masala powder 1tsp
  • ghee 1tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1tsp
  • oil for frying

How to make Bajre ki kachodi

  1. Heat ghee add cumin seeds as they crackle add mashed potatoes salt green chili coriander, garam masala powder and chat masala powder.
  2. Stir and mix it well cook till potatoes gets dry. Switch off the gas. Cool the mixture.
  3. In a bowl add bajra flour wheat flour and salt mix it well.
  4. Now knead the soft dough adding by Luke warm water.
  5. Divide the dough into the equal portions.
  6. Make a hollow and fill the mixture make poori with your palm. Do not use rolling pin.
  7. Heat oil and deep fry them till golden and crisp on slow heat.
  8. Serve hot with potato curry or curd as per your choice.
