Rava khichdi

Ingredients to make Rava khichdi

  • Rava 1 cup
  • Mixed vegetables 1/2 cup
  • onion 1 chopped
  • tomato 1(large) chopped
  • ginger 1 inch piece finely chopped
  • curry leaves 10 nos
  • coriander 2 tbsp chopped
  • water 3-3 1/2 cup
  • ghee 2 tbsp
  • mustard 1/2 tsp
  • urad dal 1/2 tsp
  • jeera 1 tsp
  • salt as required

How to make Rava khichdi

  1. Prepare the ingredients
  2. 1.Roast rava with a tsp of ghee
  3. In a pan add oil and add mustard urad dal and jeera when it splutters add curry leaves
  4. Then add ginger saute for a minute and add onion when it turns translucent add vegetables along with tomato
  5. Add salt and saute well
  6. Now add water and let it boil
  7. When it boil add rava and stir continuously
  8. Cover it with a lid and cook for a minute
  9. After a minute or two switch off the flame and add coriander leaves
  10. Ta da its ready to serve
