Ingredients to make Fenugreek leaves fritters

  • chickpea flour 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 cup
  • fenugreek leaves 1/2 cup chopped
  • Green peas 2 tablespoon mashed
  • salt to taste
  • green chillies 2 chopped
  • red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  • Dry mango powder 1 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon
  • coriander seeds crushed 1 teaspoon
  • oil for frying
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

How to make Fenugreek leaves fritters

  1. Add both flours and all dry masalas and mix well. Add 1 tablespoon oil and mix well. Add chopped fenugreek leaves and mashed green peas. Mix well and add all other ingredients.make a smooth batter with the help of water.
  2. Set aside for 5 minutes. Heat oil. Mix well the batter and pour spoonful of batter into hot oil in whole pan at different places. Fry from both sides. Remove it on a kitchen towel. Make dumplings from all batter in same process.
  3. Your methi fritters are ready to serve. Serve with green chutney and tamrind chutney.
