Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup Fenugreek leaves washed and chopped
  2. 1/2 cup besan
  3. 1/2 cup curd
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Black salt one spoon
  6. Turmeric powder 1 spoon
  7. For pakoda-
  8. 1 big spoon full chopped fenugreek
  9. 1/4 cup besan
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Half tablespoon red chilli powder
  12. For tadka-
  13. 2 tbsp clarified butter
  14. One teaspoon Rai
  15. Methi dana half teaspoon
  16. Four cloves
  17. Ajwain half teaspoon
  18. Cumin seeds half teaspoon
  19. Hing pinch of
  20. Kari patta 4
  21. Two dried red chilli
  22. One spoon red chilli powder
  23. Garam Masala one spoon


  1. First in a bowl add besan with curd.
  2. Mix salt, black salt and turmeric powder in this.
  3. Mix 3 Cup water and let it boil.
  4. Stirr continuously until boil.
  5. After 8 minutes add fenugreek leaves.
  6. Make a thick consistency.
  7. For Pakoda add besan, fenugreek leaves and salt mix well.
  8. Hot oil in a kadai,fry pakodas.
  9. Add pakodas in Kari.
  10. For tadka take a pan add clarified butter.
  11. Splutter rai, cumin seeds,Methi Dana, ajwain,Kari patta, Hing and dried red chilli.
  12. Mix red chilli powder and Garam Masala in Tadka.
  13. Pour Tadka in hot Kari and cover up the Kari pan.
  14. Enjoy this Kari with chapati or rice.
