Broccoli Fussili

Ingredients to make Broccoli Fussili

  • 100% Durum wheat Pasta - 250 gm
  • water - for cooking pasta
  • oil - 1 tsp
  • butter - 2 tbsp
  • garlic - 10
  • Broccoli - 10 florets
  • Maida / all purpose flour - 2 tbsp
  • Milk - 2 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - for taste
  • Cheese - 1 cube
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • chilli flakes - 1 tsp
  • Mixed herbs - 1 tsp

How to make Broccoli Fussili

  1. Pasta : Boil pasta in a pot with enough water. Add little salt and oil to it so it gets cooked without sticking to each other. Once cooked drain the water and keep aside
  2. White sauce: In a pan add 1 tsp butter and add maida and sauté till the raw smell goes.
  3. Now add milk to it and make a paste by dissolving the maida in the pan and give a good stir. Add sugar and salt .You can add cream cheese if you want to get more creamy pasta.
  4. Broccoli fussili: In a pan add butter and when it's melted add chopped garlic and saute till it's cooked.
  5. Now add broccoli florets,pepper,salt,sugar to it and give a good stir.
  6. Once the broccoli is cooked , add the prepared white sauce and mix it.
  7. Now add the cooked pasta and stir and add grated cheese to it.
  8. Garnish with mixed herbs and chilli flakes.
