Corn pulao

Ingredients to make Corn pulao

  • Basmati rice (soaked) 1cup
  • Frozen/fresh sweet corn 3/4cup
  • garlic ginger paste 1tsp
  • onion big 1 cut in long
  • Bay leafs 2
  • capsicum 1/2 cut in long
  • whole black pepper 5-6
  • jeera 1/2tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • water as required
  • oil 2tsp

How to make Corn pulao

  1. Heat oil in cooker, saute jeera [cumin seeds] bay leaf & black pepper.
  2. Then add onion and cook until it becomes pink. .
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste & cook for 1-2mins.
  4. Now add corn, capsicum & salt , mix well & cook for 3-4 mins.
  5. Then add soaked rice & water. Cover with the lid and cook until 2 whistles are attained.
  6. Now your corn pulao is ready, open the lid once the pressure is released. Stir and serve with some raita on the side.
