Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potatoes : 3
  2. Mustard : 1 teaspoon
  3. Curry leaves : 10
  4. Pepper corns : 1 tablespoon
  5. Chilli powder : 1 tablespoon
  6. Garlic pods : 10
  7. Salt : to taste
  8. Oil : 2 tablespoons


  1. Peel the skin of the potatoes and cut them into small cubes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard. When the mustard starts to splutter, add the curry leaves and slightly crushed garlic.
  3. Add potatoes and mix. Keep on a low flame.
  4. Mix again after 5-6 mins.
  5. Once the potatoes are half done, add chilli powder and salt.
  6. Crush peppercorns into a coarse powder and add it to the potatoes. Mix well.
  7. Let it be on low flame for a while.
  8. Once potatoes are well-cooked, switch off the flame and serve hot.
