ABOUT Chicken Stuffed Kulcha RECIPE

Kulcha is different type of chapatti and every body loves to eat it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kulcha dough:
  2. 2 cup maida
  3. 1 tsp Baking powder
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 3/4 cup curd
  6. 1 tsp sugar
  7. 2 tsp oil and butter to grease the kulcha
  8. For stuffing:
  9. 1 cup chicken minced and boiled
  10. 1 onion medium sized chopped
  11. 1 tsp ginger
  12. 1 tsp garlic paste
  13. 1 tsp coriander
  14. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  15. 1 tsp cumin
  16. 1 tsp fennel
  17. 1/2 dry mango powder
  18. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  19. a pinch of nutmeg powder
  20. 1 tsp lemon juice
  21. salt to taste
  22. oil for cooking
  23. Fresh coriander leaves
  24. Few soya leaves

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add all kulcha ingredients, mix well and make a dough and let it rest.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add chopped onion after 2 minutes. Add ginger, garlic paste and after a few seconds add all the filling masala in it and mix well. Finally add salt, soya leaves and fresh coriander leaves in it and let it rest at room temperature.
  3. Now take kulcha dough and knead again and divide it in 4 equal size balls, flatten it on the palm and fill chicken stuffing in it.
  4. Again leave it for 10 - 15 minutes. Make chapati not to thin, grease chapati with butter and sprinkle black and white sesame seeds over it and cook it on a tava till both sides are cooked and slightly brown in colour.
  5. Like this make all the kulchas. Serve it with punjabi chole or any vegetable of your choice.
  6. Serve hot for best taste.
