Boneless chicken cooked in subtle spices with boiled eggs and creamy gravy.

Chicken Shahi Kurma

Ingredients to make Chicken Shahi Kurma

  • Boneless chicken - 500 gm
  • Boiled eggs - 2
  • ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped onion - 1
  • Slit green chillies - 3
  • kaju paste - 2 tbsp
  • coriander leaves to garnish
  • Refined oil as required

How to make Chicken Shahi Kurma

  1. Cut the chicken into thin strips, marinate them with red chilli powder, salt and ginger-garlic paste for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat some oil in a pan, add in the chopped onion and fry till it turns golden brown in colour.
  3. Add the marinated chicken, coriander powder, slit green chillies and cook on a medium flame with the lid on till the chicken is cooked.
  4. Add water to form a gravy, bring it into boil, then add the kaju paste and stir.
  5. Once the sauce is thickened, cut the boiled eggs into thin slices and add it to the cooked chicken.
  6. Check for salt and garnish with coriander leaves.
