About Sheer Kurma Recipe

A sweet dish perfect for all festivals.

Sheer Kurma

Ingredients to make Sheer Kurma

  • Vermacelli 1 cup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 litre goodlife milk
  • 1/2 tin condensed milk
  • 4 tbsp Milk powder
  • elaichi 4 flakes
  • cloves 3 flakes
  • cinnamon 1/2 inch
  • ghee 5 tbsp
  • Dry fruits 1 small cup
  • sugar as per taste

How to make Sheer Kurma

  1. Take a vessel and add ghee to heat, then add elaichi, cinnamon, cloves, dry fruits and fry it for 3 mins.
  2. Than add the roasted vermicelli and fry for another 5 mins.
  3. Add 1 cup of boiling water and cook for 5 mins. Than add the boiled milk and milk powder and cook for 5 to 8 mins.
  4. Than add the sugar and condensed milk and cook for 2 mins.
  5. Garnish it with roasted dry fruits, rose petals and serve.

My Tip:

Always add the sugar and condensed milk at the very end to give every sweet dish a better taste.
