This is my mom's recipe and this dish close to my heart.. It's delicious dish without khoya

Besan chakki

Ingredients to make Besan chakki

  • Besan( gram flour) 500 gm
  • semolina 50 gm
  • sugar 400 gm
  • Gond (edible gum) 50 gm
  • pista 50 gm
  • cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • ghee 300 gm
  • cashew 10 -12
  • almond 10-12
  • Charoli 2 tsp
  • Milk 1 cup

How to make Besan chakki

  1. Take a bowl put besan (gram flour)semolina put 2 tbsp ghee and add milk and make a soft dough
  2. Now take a lump of dough in your palm and press it bye closing the palm to form muthiya.
  3. Heat a Kadai and put ghee and all muthiya fry it til lightly golden brown Let it completely cool down
  4. Now crushed muthiya and grind it and stain it
  5. Add crushed cashew and almond Crushed gond and fry it
  6. Now again heat a Kadai put some ghee and add mixture of besan roast it till turn to golden in colour
  7. In another pan put sugar and some water and heat it till sugar is dissolved on medium flame and make 1 string consistency
  8. Now add cordamom powder in besan mixture and stire well
  9. Take a plate grease with ghee and put the mixture and set properly
  10. Now cut in to pieces and sprinkle fried gond, chopped pista and charoli
  11. Dilecious Besan chakki it is ready
  12. This besan chakki can be ‎Store up to 8- 10days
