About Besan ki sabji Recipe

Its a traditional recipe of which can be made in emergency in absence of vegetable also.I

Besan ki sabji

Ingredients to make Besan ki sabji

  • I cup and 1/2 tbsp besan
  • 1 tbsp curd
  • 1 medium sized chopped tomato
  • 2 medium sized chopped onions
  • 2 minced green chillies
  • 6-7 pieces of garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 pinch hing
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 2 tbsp oil for making curry
  • oil for deep fry
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

How to make Besan ki sabji

  1. In one cup besan add 2 cup water,1 small spoon oil,1/2 spoon haldi powder,1/2spoon jeera and baking soda and mix it well
  2. Add the batter into a kadhai and stir it on medium flame regularly
  3. When batter becomes thick then put off the flame
  4. Take a greased plate and spread the batter into it
  5. When it cool cut it in barfi shape
  6. Now add oil in a kadhai for deep frying on high flame
  7. Fry all the besan barfi
  8. Now keep all fried besan barfi aside
  9. In another kadhai add 2 tbsp oil and heat it
  10. Add hing and jeera to be crackle
  11. Add chopped chillies,garlic and onion and fry till golden brown
  12. Now add haldi powder,dhaniya powder,red chilli powder and roast it for few minutes
  13. Now add mix curd in it and add besan in it
  14. After adding besan stir it on medium flame and add salt, 1 cup water
  15. When the gravy is cooked add the fried besan barfi
  16. Cook it for 2-3 minutes on high flame and put off the flame
  17. The besan sabji is ready to serve with rice ,puri
