About Chatpata Hariyali Aloo Paneer Recipe

Baby potato and paneer cooked and tossed in chatpata hariyali gravy which is made with simple ingredients mint and coriender.

Chatpata Hariyali Aloo Paneer

Ingredients to make Chatpata Hariyali Aloo Paneer

  • Baby potatoes 100 gm
  • paneer cubs 100 gm
  • mint leaves 100 gm
  • coriander leaves 50 gm
  • chilli ginger paste 2 tsp
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • lemon juice 1 tbs
  • oil 1 tbs
  • butter 1 tbs
  • jeera or cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • salt
  • Dhanya jeera powder 2 tsp
  • malai or cream 2 tbs

How to make Chatpata Hariyali Aloo Paneer

  1. Remove the skin of baby potatoes.
  2. Heat a pan with 1 tbs butter and 1 tbs oil add 1 tsp cumin seed.
  3. Add baby potatoes and cook until it turns to golden brown and soft. If required add 1/4 cup of water for cooking.
  4. Grind mint leaves, coriander leaves, chilli ginger paste, garlic and lemon juice in a mixture and make chatpata hariyali gravy.
  5. When potatoes cooked well add Paneer and cook for 1 minute. Add salt, Dhanya Jeera powder. Add chatpata hariyali gravy cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add Malai or cream mix well. Serve chatpata hariyali Aloo and Paneer with roti or steamed rice.

My Tip:

Do not over cook the gravy.
