It is a complete meal and includes biryani with tangy boneless chicken and chicken balls S starters. The sauce of this sizzler is very yummy and tempting.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For chicken biryani-
  2. Basmati rice (soaked for 1/2 hour) 3/4 cup
  3. Sliced onion 1/2 cup
  4. cloves 2
  5. Black cardamoms 2
  6. cinnamon stick 2 inch
  7. Green chillies 2
  8. jeera 1 tsp
  9. salt to taste
  10. haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Bay leaves 2
  12. Garam masala powdet 1/2 tsp
  13. coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  14. chicken 250gms
  15. Thick curd 1 cup
  16. Lemonjuice 1tbsp
  17. ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  18. Red cilli powder 1/2 tsp
  19. For boneless chicken in sauce
  20. Boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch piece 200 gms
  21. Diced capsicum 1
  22. Finely chopped onion 1 small
  23. sugar 35 gms
  24. tomato sauce 1/4cup
  25. lemon juice 1/4 cup
  26. Soya sauce 1tsp
  27. Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  28. Galic cloves finely chopped 3 to 4
  29. salt to taste
  30. All purpose flour 1/2 cup
  31. For chicken balls
  32. Minced chicken 100 gms
  33. coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  34. Finely chopped onion 1 /2 tbsp
  35. salt to taste
  36. egg beaten 1/2
  37. oil 1/2 tbsp
  38. Finely chopped garlic 1/2tbsp
  39. Dried red chilli 1
  40. Finely chopped ginger 1/2tsp
  41. Soya sauce 1/2tsp
  42. Red chilli paste 1/2tsp
  43. Sweet chilli sauce 1/2tsp
  44. Corn flour 1tsp
  45. oil to deep fry
  46. Grated cheese 15 gms
  47. onion rings to garnish
  48. cabbage leaves for sizzler bed


  1. In a non-stick pan heat oil,add sliced onions and sute it till light brown. Now add all dry masala except red chilli powder saute it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces with curd,lemon juice,ginger garlic paste,red chilli powder for 1 hour in refrigerator. Add this marinated chicken in the cooked onion spice mixture, mix well. Cook it for 5 to 6 mintues.
  3. Now add soaked rice to it along with 1 1/2 cup of water.cover it and cook at medium flame for 10 minutes or till it is done. For boneless chicken in a bowl mix flour, salt, black pepper powder very well. To this add chicken pieces and make sure that they are well coated.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add chicken pieces and cook for 8 minutes untill it is cooked and become golden brown from all the sides. In another pan heat 1 tbsp oi ladd garlic, onion, capsicum and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes till slightly soft.
  5. To this add chicken pieces and toss well. Now add tomato ketchup, soya sauce, lemon juice, sugar and bring it to a boil. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes stirring it continously.
  6. For chicken balls take a bowl add minced chicken, coriander leaves,onion,salt very little,egg cornflour and mix well.Make balls and stuff it with cheese and deep fry all the balls. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger,garlic and dried chillies and saute it.
  7. Then add soya sauce , chilli paste,sweet chilli sauce and saute it. Add chicken balls and toss. Heat the sizzler plate till red hot . Now arrange cabbage leaves. On it first- on left hand side keep biryani after that boneless chicken and on right hand side chicken balls. Garnish with onion rings.
