Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour/ maida-2 cups
  2. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  3. Water - 3/4 cup
  4. Yeast-1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  6. Butter - 2 tbsps
  7. Chocolate glaze:
  8. Chopped Chocolate - 1 cup
  9. Butter-1 tbsp
  10. Milk for brushing
  11. Sprinkles for decoration
  12. Oil for Deep frying


  1. Mix sugar in water, sprinkle yeast over it and keep covered for 15 minutes for proofing
  2. Mix salt in flour and keep aside
  3. Pour the yeast mixture in the flour. Mix with spatula
  4. Transfer to a clean platform. Add butter and knead the dough for around 10 minutes.
  5. Grease a deep utensil and put the dough into the vessel. Cover and keep in a warm place for an hour or till it doubles.
  6. Pinch lemon sized balls, flatten a bit, make a hole with little finger. Keep aside. Make all such Donuts. If you have a donut cutter you can do with it.
  7. Brush with milk and leave for 20 minutes.
  8. Keep oil for deep frying
  9. Now start frying the Donuts on small batches in medium to low flame
  10. Fry all and keep aside
  11. Melt the chopped dark chocolate with butter in a double boiler.
  12. Now dip each doughnut in the melted chocolate.
  13. Use a toothpick and turn side and remove
  14. Place on a parchment paper
  15. Make all such
  16. Drizzle with sprinkles
  17. Leave for 10 minutes
  18. Transfer to a serving plate
