Cannelli beans masal

Ingredients to make Cannelli beans masal

  • Cannellini beans ¼ kg
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • Coriander, curry leaves
  • turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  • salt
  • ginger garlic paste  1 tsp
  • mustard seeds  ½ tsp
  • oil 2 tsp
  • For coconut Paste
  • Grated coconut 3 tsp
  • fennel seeds : ½ tsp

How to make Cannelli beans masal

  1. Steam cook the Cannellini beans 5 min over medium flame and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute mustard seed, cumin seeds.Let them crackle for a minute and add onion saute for 2 min.
  3. Add tomato, ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, curry leaves and keep saute to 2 min.
  4. Add some water and cook for 3 mins.
  5. Add boiled Cannellini beans, salt mix well and cook for 5 min
  6. Add coconut paste and keep saute for 2 min. Add coriander leaves
