About Kadai panneer Recipe

Delicious hotel style panneer. Kids love it. Easy to make.

Kadai panneer

Ingredients to make Kadai panneer

  • Panneer cubes - 1 cup
  • capsicum - 2
  • butter - 2 tablespoon
  • ginger garlic paste - 2 teaspoon
  • onion paste - 1/2 cup
  • tomato puree - 1 cup
  • Kasuri methi leaves - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cream - 3/4 cup
  • salt - as needed
  • coriander powder - 2 to 3 teaspoon
  • Turmeeic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • red chilly powder - 2 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves - to garnish

How to make Kadai panneer

  1. Chop panneer into small cubes and set aside.
  2. Wash and chop capsicum and set aside.
  3. Grind onion to a paste without adding water. Set aside.
  4. Grind tomatoes to a fine puree and set aside.
  5. Take a pan, add butter, ginger garlic paste.
  6. Saute it well till raw smell goes away.
  7. Add onion paste and saute for 5 mins till it turns translucent.
  8. Add tomato puree and mix well.
  9. Add coriander powder, red chilly powder, turmeric powder.
  10. Mix well and allow it to boil.
  11. Add fresh cream, salt and water. Mix well and adjust the consistency.
  12. Add kasuri methi leaves.
  13. Add panneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes.
  14. Turn off the heat and Garnish coriander leaves.
  15. Serve hot with roti.
