Shahi Curry Platter

Ingredients to make Shahi Curry Platter

  • 1 large gobi cut into florets
  • 4 tomatoes finely chopped
  • 2 red onions finely chopped
  • 1 large cup of mixed spices such as elaichi, cloves, pepper, cinnamon sticks
  • 2 pinches saffron
  • 2 large spoons Kashmiri mirchi
  • 1 large green chilli
  • salt to taste
  • 4-5 potatoes boiled and cubed
  • 4-6 bread slices
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1 cup chopped raisins
  • 2 cups wheat
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 2 tsp jeera
  • 2 tsp Chana masala

How to make Shahi Curry Platter

  1. To make aloo tikki kofta start with pressure cooking potatoes
  2. Peel potatoes and mash finely now add bread slices, turmeric, little Chana masala and chilli powder
  3. Make tiny balls and take a tawa and heat some oil and ghee together
  4. Cook the small tikkis in the tava ..
  5. Take a pan add some oil add the chopped onions, tomatoes and fry well for 10 minutes now add the powdered spices, salt, chilli powder and cook well.
  6. Add cashews and raisins now
  7. Grind this paste in a blender and keep aside
  8. Separate the blended sauce in two portions
  9. Take a pan and let the sauce that was blended in mixer cook for 10 minutes
  10. The aloo tikki kofta is ready
  11. Cook cauliflower in water for 10 minutes add salt
  12. Cook well and add to cauliflower
  13. Add salt to taste
  14. Make tiny rotis and cook them in oil

My Tip:

Adding raisins to shahi sanji makes it an absolute delight
