Ingredients to make Lauki Aur Chana Dal Ke Kofte Brown Gravy

  • 500 gms lauki call as kadu also
  • 2 tsp chana dal
  • 5 tsp besan
  • 2 tsp ginger Garlic Paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp dhaniya Powder
  • Pinch haldi
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • oil
  • 2 degi mirchi
  • 1 onion grinded
  • 4 tomato grinded
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • water as required

How to make Lauki Aur Chana Dal Ke Kofte Brown Gravy

  1. For koftas First heat the oil to deep fry.. And side by side we will prepare kofta mixture..
  2. Take a bowl peel lauki and grate it then add Chana Dal besan little water and salt according to taste..
  3. Mix nicely and deep fry the mixture while making balls.. Fry till Golden brown...
  4. Now for gravy Pan add oil and Jeera.
  5. add Onion and Cooked till it's raw smell goes when onion turn brownish add ginger garlic paste and let it cook on slow gas..
  6. Then in 10 min add tomatoes grinded with degi mirchi.. All sukha masala.. As oil leaves add little water add all sukha masala then add koftas remove in bowl sprinkle kasuri methi and serve..

My Tip:

We can even shallow fry the koftas..
