About Pakores with potato curry Recipe

A delicious curry made with left over pakodes and potatoes, to be served with some roti on the side.

Pakores with potato curry

Ingredients to make Pakores with potato curry

  • 2 cup leftover mixed pakore
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tomatoes
  • salt
  • 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4tsp garam masala
  • Refined oil

How to make Pakores with potato curry

  1. Boil, peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. Grind the onion and tomato into a paste. Keep aside.
  3. Heat some oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  4. Add the onion & tomato paste.
  5. Saute for few minutes and then add the salt, powdered masalas.
  6. Add potatoes and mix.
  7. Cook the masala until it leaves oil.
  8. Add 2 glass water. Let this boil and get thick to form the gravy.
  9. Add pakoras and switch off the gas, mix and serve immediately.
  10. Serve hot with chapati.

My Tip:

Gravy should b sufficient.pakoras soak it.
