About Patvadi Recipe

It is maharashtrian party recipe. Mostly rainy season we prefared this spicy sabji. It is very tempting , delicious dish .we uses some spices to make curry we called it rassa . It is also most demanding recipe in wedding or bday party .

Patvadi

Ingredients to make Patvadi

  • 1 cup gramfloure ( besan )
  • 50 gr.dry coconut powder
  • 2 tbsp khuskhus
  • 2 tbsp corriander powder
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 hearb leaves
  • 1 black cardemom
  • Black paper 2-3
  • 1 inch chinnamom
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 1 inch zinger
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp muton masala
  • salt
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1 TBSP turmeric POWDER
  • oil 3 - 4 spoon

How to make Patvadi

  1. Prepared all masala for curry
  2. Rost all masala only little oil
  3. Grind it smooth , there are three types of grind pest , onion and corrinder ,coconut and khuskhus ,all khada masala dry powder and zinger garlik cumin seed pest ...
  4. Take a gramflour and add salt chilli powder and turmeric powder ,chopped coriander .add water and knead dough . it get sticky ,so use oil while knead dough.
  5. Make a ball and roll it like chapati but here the width is more thsn chapati.
  6. Cut it square shape .we call it vadi .it is look like shankepali .
  7. Now heat the pan add oil then add mustard seeds .when it splatterd .add zinger garlic pest .saut it for 2 minute.
  8. Then add onion pest again saute it few minute .when it get change colour add coconut pest and last add dry powder of khada masala .
  9. Now mix it well. when it try to seprate from yhe pan add chilli powder,turmeric powder ,salt
  10. Ony mix it not wait for longer instantly add two cup hot water .
  11. When curry get boil add vadies or peaces.
  12. Cover it for ten minute . if the peaces come out on the surface of curry .it means the patodi cooked .
  13. Add muton masala and chopped corriander .
  14. Serve it with bhakari or chapati.
