Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Pearl millet sevia or vermicelli __ 1 cup
  2. Water __ 1 cup
  3. Milk __ 2 cup
  4. Sugar or jaggery powder__ 4_5 tsp or cane sugar juice 1 cup
  5. Cloves __ 2
  6. Cardamom __2
  7. Cashew nuts __ 6
  8. Raisins ___ 6
  9. Ghee ___4_5 tsp
  10. Saffron strands __ 4

Instructions

  1. Heat two tsp ghee in a pan. Roast sevia or vermicelli (This is pearl millet or bajra sevia. It is available here otherwise any sevia .) Then transfer this to one plate. & Keep it aside.
  2. Again heat one tsp ghee in a same pan. Roast cashew nuts and raisins. transfer this to one plate and keep it aside. Boil water in a same pan. Add sevia and allow it to boil for 3_4 minutes.
  3. Add milk and sugar allow it to boil for 3_4 minutes. ( You can add cane sugar juice first then milk if you want) No harm like sugar . Sugar patients can have sugar cane juice sweet dish. Add saffron strands.& Little ghee. Make a powder of cardamom and cloves and add to it Then finally add roasted cashew nuts and raisins & serve hot or cold.

You can also add some chopped almonds.
