Vegetable Heart paratha

Ingredients to make Vegetable Heart paratha

  • Whole wheat flour-1 cup
  • salt according to taste
  • butter-100 grams
  • Boiled potato-1 medium
  • peas -1/2 cup
  • carrots-1/2 cup square pieces small
  • corn -1/4 cup boiled
  • green onion-1/4 cup chopped
  • ginger-1 tsp chopped
  • garlic -1/2 tsp chopped
  • Black pepper-1/4 tsp crushed
  • Green chili -2 chopped
  • red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
  • salt according to taste
  • oil -1 tbs
  • coriander leaves
  • cumin powder-1 tsp
  • lemon-1
  • water--1/2 cup

How to make Vegetable Heart paratha

  1. First we knead flour..Add salt and 25 grams butter in flour . Mixed well.Add water slowly and make a dough . Cover it with cotton cloth and keep aside for rest.
  2. Now we prepare stuffing . Heat oil and butter mixture ( 50 grams butter and 1/2 tsp oil) .Add chopped garlic and ginger saute it . Add chopped green onion saute it .now add all masala and salt .saute 2 minutes with add very little water .
  3. Now add boiled and mashed potato , boiled peas, corn and carrots .saute all 5 minutes . When Masala looks golden add lemon juice and mixed well. Switch off flame .stuffing is ready .
  4. Now take dough and make 3 balls with dough. Make disk with all 3 balls .Cut 2 smaller heart shape from 2 disk and 4 stripes with one disk .
  5. now take a heart shape put stuffing on it . cover it with another heart shape ..lock slides with fork.Now make frills with stripes .lock it joints with a fork .Now heat a Tava brush butter bake vegetable heart paratha in medum low flame both sides .
  6. Brush butter on it and serve with any chutney or sauce..enjoy wonderful paratha

My Tip:

Bake paratha on tava in midum low flame.
