Urad Dal Vadi In Spinach

Ingredients to make Urad Dal Vadi In Spinach

  • Vadi 1 cup
  • spinach puree. 1 cup
  • curd. 1/2 cup
  • onion Puree 2
  • tomato Puree. 2
  • ginger Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Corriander powder 1/2 tsp
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • clove. 1/4 tsp
  • Cinnamon1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper. 1/4 tsp
  • asafoetida. Pinch
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp

How to make Urad Dal Vadi In Spinach

  1. Soak dal vadi in hot water.
  2. In a kadhai add mustard oil and puree of onion followed by ginger garlic paste.
  3. Now add tomatoes puree and hing.add all dry spices to this.once it starts releasing oil add curd .keep it mixing to avoid curdling.add salt to the taste.
  4. Add Puree of spinach to it .once it starts releasing oil on the sides of vessel add vadiyan.
  5. Let this be cooked on medium flame .add one and half cup of water give it a boil.
  6. Adjust the consistency as per your choice.
  7. Vadi is ready to be served.

My Tip:

You can add potato to this
