This is a creamy, rich and delicious kofta curry that goes well with roti or naan, can be made for any dinner party occasion.

Ingredients to make Malai kofta

  • For kofta
  • Grated paneer 1 cup
  • Cooked and mashed potatoes 1 cup
  • maida 1/4 cup
  • coriander leaves chopped 2 table spoon
  • green chillies 2 chopped
  • cashew chopped 4 table spoon
  • salt
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • For gravy
  • onion 2 big cut in cubes
  • tomato 3 numbers cubed
  • garlic 3 number
  • green chilly 1 number
  • ginger 1 inch piece
  • cashew 10 number
  • chilly powder 4 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 3 teaspoon
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi a pinch
  • Fresh cream 2 table spoon

How to make Malai kofta

  1. FOR KOFTA GRATED PANEER 1 CUP POTATO CHILLY 1 GINGER ,MAIDA 1/2 CUP,CHILLY POWDER GARAM MASALA SALT
  2. MASH POTATOES AND ALL INGREDIENTS AND MAKE BALLS
  3. ROLL ALL BALLS IN MAIDA
  4. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  5. FOR GRAVY ONION, TOMATO, CHILLY,GARLIC
  6. IN A KADAI SAUTE ALL AND ADD CASHEW AND BADAM
  7. ADD SALT CHILLY POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER,GARAM MASALA AND SAUTE
  8. ADD WATER AND COOK TILL SOFT
  9. GRIND TO SMOOTH PASTE
  10. IN THE SAME PAN ADD 1TEASPOON OIL AND ADD BAY LEAF GLOVE CINNAMON AND ELAICHI
  11. ADD GROUND PASTE AND SOME WATER
  12. ADD KASORI METHI
  13. ADD SOME MILK OR FRESH CREAM
  14. PLATING
