About Veg salna Recipe

This is a quick and easy recipe to be served with some roti on the side.

Veg salna

Ingredients to make Veg salna

  • potato : 2
  • carrot 1
  • Beans 5
  • peas 1 cup
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1
  • salt
  • oil
  • ginger 1 inch
  • garlic 5
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Cummin seeds 1 tsp
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • cardamom 2
  • cloves 2
  • cinnamon 1
  • bay leaf 1

How to make Veg salna

  1. Heat oil in a pan fennel seeds, cinnamon, onion, tomato and saute for 2 mins
  2. Add ginger garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, garam masala and saute for 1 min
  3. Cool it and grind to make smooth paste and keep aside
  4. Heat oil in a pressure cooker add fennel seeds, cloves, curry leaves cardomom, chopped veg potato, carrot, peas, beans and saute it
  5. Add salt, grounded paste, required water and mix well
  6. Cover with lid and cook for 8 to 10 min on medium flame
  7. Add coriander leaves
