About Dhuli moong dal ( jain food) Recipe

This is a quick and easy recipe of moong dal, that can be served with rice or roti on the side.

Ingredients to make Dhuli moong dal ( jain food)

  • 1 cup dhuli moong dal
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 spoon cumin seeds
  • 1/4 spoon dhaniya powder
  • 1/4 spoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 turmeric powder
  • 1/4 garam masala
  • Few drops of lemon
  • Corriander leaves
  • Green chillis
  • 1 spoon ghee
  • 1/4 spoon roasted cumin seeds

How to make Dhuli moong dal ( jain food)

  1. Soak dal for 5 minutes in water
  2. Add turmeric powder n salt to it
  3. Pressure cook it for a whistle
  4. Heat ghee in a pan
  5. Roast cumin seeds,dhaniya powder,chilli powder
  6. Put this ghee into dal,stir it lightly
  7. Now add roasted cumin seeds powder,garam masala,crushed green chilli to it
  8. Garnish with corriander leaves
  9. Serve hot with roti or rice
