About Dhakai Bhelpuri.... Recipe

In India the main ingredients of bhelpuri is puffed rice.But in Bangladesh, they make bhelpuri with a special type of puris. It's very spicy & Tasty, just special for evening snacks.

Dhakai Bhelpuri....

Ingredients to make Dhakai Bhelpuri....

  • flour...1cup( for puris)
  • semolina...1/4th cup
  • Rice flour...1tspn
  • salt
  • oil
  • Boiled yellow peas...1cup(for filling)
  • Chopped onion....1
  • Chopped tomato...1
  • Chopped cucumber...1
  • coriander leaves as needed
  • Black salt
  • Chat masala..1tspn
  • red chilli powder...1tspn
  • peanuts...3tspn
  • Green chilli( optional)
  • Tamarind pulp...Tamarind pulp, sugar,salt,Red chilli & cumin powder

How to make Dhakai Bhelpuri....

  1. Make a hard dough of puris.It should not be like roti dough.
  2. Roll small puris .
  3. Deep fry it.
  4. Puris are ready.
  5. Now take a plate, place the puris on it , break the top of it & fill it with the filling ingredients.
  6. Serve it with tangy & sweet tamarind water.

My Tip:

Store the puris in air tight container for 3 to 4 days.Just make instant chat & serve it.
