Ingredients to make Katori Bhelpuri Chaat

  • For the dough (I used left over kachori dough here. But you can make fresh dough for this)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • salt a pinch
  • Crushed cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • oil 2 tbsp
  • Milk as needed to make the dough.
  • A small katori to make the shape, you can see the pics above.
  • oil for frying
  • For the bhelpuri - as per recipe

How to make Katori Bhelpuri Chaat

  1. Make small balls out of the dough about 12 to 15.
  2. Invert the katori and make the shape by pressing with your hands covering all the sides.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil, on a low flame only but the oil should be hot.
  4. You have to drop the round katori shaped dough along with the katori itself in the oil and after cooling, the little katoris will easily come out.
  5. Serve the bhelpuri in the katoris.

My Tip:

Always fry in hot oil on a medium flame otherwise they will remain uncooked.
