ABOUT Stuffed potato bread roll RECIPE

a good party snack recipe that’s quite easy to make. To make stuffed bread rolls, spiced mix vegetables are stuffed inside the bread, rolled and shallow fried, baked or tawa fried. The preparation of stuffing is just very simple and needs only mixing up the ingredients like boiled or steamed veggies, garam masala and other basic ingredients.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 tsp oil
  2. 1 inch ginger chopped
  3. 2 green chilli chopped
  4. 1 onion chopped
  5. 4 medium sized potato boiled and peeled
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. 1/2 tsp dry mando powder
  11. 2 tsp coriander leaves
  12. 6 slices bread white/ brown
  13. Oil for deep frying


  1. Firstly, in a large kadai heat oil and saute finely chopped ginger and green chilli.
  2. Also saute finely chopped onions till they change colour.
  3. Mix well and mash the potatoes.
  4. Also add chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, dry mango powder and salt.
  5. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Keep aside.
  7. Dip the bread slice into water just for a second and squeeze off the excess water.
  8. Place the oval shaped prepared stuffing.
  9. And wrap the bread making sure to pinch the edges and secure tight
  10. Further, with the help of both hands roll and make a oval shape.
  11. Deep fry the prepared bread roll into hot oil.
  12. Stir and fry occasionally on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
  13. Finally, serve stuffed bread roll hot along with ketchup.
