A tasty crispy snack, delicious pakodas made with prawns.

Prawn pakoda.

Ingredients to make Prawn pakoda.

  • Prawns cleaned & cut into small pieces 15
  • TO MARINATE PRAWNS
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • lemon juice and few frops
  • oil to deep fry.
  • For the batter
  • Basan 3/4 cup
  • Rice flour 1/4 Cup
  • onion 1 . Finely chopped
  • Green chillies 2 chopped
  • coriander leaves chopped
  • curry leaves chopped
  • chilli powder 1/2 to 3/4 tsp
  • Garam masala 2 pinch. ( optional )
  • hing 2 pinch
  • salt

How to make Prawn pakoda.

  1. Marinate prawns with the given ingredients. Keep aside for an hour.
  2. Make a sticky dough with the given ingredients. Add prawns to it & mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Pour 1 tbsp of hot oil over the dough& make it smooth.
  4. Drop small spoonfuls of batter to the hot oil. Cook both sides.
  5. Serve hot with chilli sauce or ketchup.

My Tip:

Try to take small prawns. Make small pakodas to make it crispy. U can dip full prawns in batter & deep fry also.
