About Kheema Sandwiches... Recipe

A simple yet an healthy snack idea for all. These are tasty as well as healthy. Done in a few minutes and the best part is these can be made with leftovers too. Chicken mince or mutton both are equally good for these yummy goodies.

Kheema Sandwiches...

Ingredients to make Kheema Sandwiches...

  • Bread slices 4
  • Mutton mince 100 gm
  • salt 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste
  • green chillies chopped 2
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • onion sliced 1
  • coriander leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  • oil 2 tsp + 1 tsp

How to make Kheema Sandwiches...

  1. In a pan, smear a teaspoon of oil and place 2 breads on it.
  2. .
  3. Place the kheema filling on these breads spreading on all sides and top with another bread.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat until the bread browns on the lower side.
  5. Flip it over to the other side and cook again for 1-2 minutes on low heat only.
  6. For the kheema filling , heat oil in a deep pan.
  7. Add onions and ginger garlic paste.
  8. Saute for a minute or two.
  9. Now add rest of the spices and the mince.
  10. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
  11. After 10 minutes, increase the heat to medium high and stir fry until done.
  12. Garnish with chopped coriander.
  13. Serve these healthy sandwiches as snacks for a wholesome nutrition. Use brown bread or multigrain one for a more healthier option.
