ABOUT Apple Oats Kheer RECIPE

It is the simplest dessert which can be prepared in minutes, for fasting

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup grated apple
  2. 1/2 cup oats
  3. 2 to 3 cup milk
  4. 2 tablespoons ghee
  5. 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  6. A pinch of cardamom powder
  7. Cashews and raisins, fried


  1. Fry cashews and raisins in a tablespoons of ghee. Drain and set aside
  2. Roast the oats in same ghee. Set aside
  3. Fry the grated apple till they are cooked well
  4. Once they are cooked, add milk and allow it to boil
  5. When milk begins to boil, add roasted oats and sugar. Stir continuously.
  6. Add cardamom powder. Mix well
  7. When kheer begins to thick, add fried cashews and raisins. Mix well and switch off the flame.
