Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Bananas 2 ( if big than just 1 ), Chopped.
  2. Cumin 1 tsp.
  3. Tiny Cashew bites 1 tbsp
  4. Ginger grated 1 tbsp.
  5. Ground nut oil 1 tbsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped finely 1 tbsp
  7. Mint leaves 6 to 8.
  8. Salt for fast to taste.
  9. Red chili powder 1/2 tsp/ green chilli paste ( as some don't eat red chili powder in fast.)
  10. Curd 1 and 1/2 tbspsp.
  11. Tamarind soaked and juice sqeezed out 1 tsp ( optional)


  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add Zeera.
  2. As it crackles add half Cashew bites .
  3. Saute half minute and add Chopped Bananas.
  4. Add Red chili powder/ green chilli paste.
  5. Stir and let banana coat with it.
  6. Add water. ( according to quantity you need gravy. )
  7. Add 1 tbsp water in ginger, squeeze out juice and add to the banana gravy.
  8. Chop half mint leaves and add..
  9. Boil for 3 minutes. Turn off heat. Your banana veg is ready to serve.
  10. Serve with garnish of coriander leaves, mint and Cashew bites.
  11. You can eat this with fast roti, bhakhari or Rice for fast.
  12. You can eat this with your regular Paratha too if you prepare on normal days.
