ABOUT Baked Falafel RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 cups boiled chickpeas
  2. 2 tbsp besan(chickpea flour)
  3. 1 big onion finely chopped
  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 2 green chilies finely chopped
  6. 1 tsp cumin powder
  7. 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp chat masala
  9. 2tbsp chopped green coriander leaves
  10. 2 tsp lemon juice
  11. 1/2 tsp baking powder
  12. Pinch of baking soda
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Oil

Instructions

  1. First of all coarsely grind boiled chickpeas.  Mix all the ingredients together and make tikki shapes .
  2.  Arrange them on a baking tray lined with butter paper. Brush some oil on each falafel .
  3.  Bake at 230 degree C in a preheated oven or grill them in oven till golden on both sides. It may take 10 - 15 mins each sides depending on oven.
