Ingredients to make Jeera Poli

  • For poori
  • Chiroti rava 1 cup
  • salt
  • ghee
  • oil for deep fry
  • For sugar syrup
  • 1 Cup water
  • Pinch of saffron
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Cardamon powder 1/4 tsp

How to make Jeera Poli

  1. BOIL 1 CUP WATER. ADD PINCH OF SAFFRON AND 1/4 CUP SUGAR
  2. STIR WELL TO DISSOLVE SUGAR
  3. ADD 1/4 TSP CARDAMON POWDER. MIX
  4. SUGAR SYRUP IS READY WITH CONSISTENCY AS SHOWN
  5. ADD 1 CUP CHIROTI RAVA
  6. ADD REQUIRED SALT AND GHEE. MIX
  7. ADD WATER AND KNEAD A DOUGH
  8. REST THE DOUGH FOR 5-10 MINUTES
  9. TAKE SMALL PORTIONS. USE POORI PRESSER AND SHAPE POORIS
  10. DEEP FRY POORIS
  11. FRY TILL COLOUR CHANGES TO GOLDEN
  12. FLAT POORIS
  13. DIP POORIS IN SUGAR SYRUP
  14. REST THEM FOR 30 MINUTES
  15. GARNISH WITH BADAM AND PISTA. SERVE
