Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For momos filling
  2. 1 Cup Finely chopped Cabbage
  3. 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  4. 1/2 sweet corn boiled
  5. 1 cup soya granules boiled and drained
  6. 2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  7. 2 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  8. 2 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  9. 1 onion finely chopped
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  12. 2 tbsp Oil
  13. 2 tbsp Schezwan sauce
  14. For momos covering
  15. 2 cup maida
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Warm water as needed
  18. 2 tbdp oil
  19. For orange glaze
  20. 1tbsp Oil
  21. 1 tbsp chopoed garlic
  22. 1tbsp chopped green chilli
  23. 2 tbsp orange marmalade with zest
  24. 1/2 cup orange juice
  25. Few pieces of fresh orange
  26. Salt and pepper to taste
  27. 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
  28. 1 tsp cornflour
  29. For garnishing
  30. 1 tsp toasted white sesame seed


  1. Chop and prepare all ingredients for filling
  2. Heat oil in a pan . To this add chopped ginger and garlic and green chilli
  3. Add rest of the ingredients and saute
  4. Then add schezwan sauce and salt and pepper to taste
  5. Cook for few minutes and let the filling cool down
  6. Knead a soft dough and roll thin pooris
  7. Fill the filling
  8. Steam in steamer for 15 minutes
  9. For orange glaze .Heat a pan .To this add chopped garlic and green chilli
  10. In a bowl.add orange marmalade,orange juice ,lemon juice and ,cornflour.
  11. Add this to.pan .Add salt and.pepper to taste and water if required to adjust consistency.
  12. To this add fresh orange
  13. Coat steamed momos with this orange glaze
