Mughlai Parantha Calzones

Ingredients to make Mughlai Parantha Calzones

  • For dough:
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • water (for kneading the dough)
  • For filling :
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup onion strings
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1 green chilli (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon coriander leaves (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • Other Ingredients :
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

How to make Mughlai Parantha Calzones

  1. Add all purpose flour, salt and oil in a bowl for kneading the dough. Knead the dough using water.
  2. Rest the dough covered with wet cloth for around 10 minutes.
  3. For making filling, heat a pan. Add 1 teaspoon oil. Add onions, green chilli and peas. Saute for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Break the eggs in pan. Add salt and scramble and cook.
  5. Add coriander leaves and mix.
  6. Take a ball size dough. Roll it with rolling pin.
  7. Add the filling on the half side of rolled dough.
  8. Cover it with other half, making the shape of half moon.
  9. Seal the sides with water. Brush with oil
  10. Heat remaining oil in a pan. Cook the calzone from both the sides.
  11. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
