Kesar Mawa Modak

Ingredients to make Kesar Mawa Modak

  • mawa 160 gms
  • sugar 1/2 cup or less
  • cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  • Few saffron strands dissolved in 1 tbsp of milk

How to make Kesar Mawa Modak

  1. Roast the mawa for 2-3 minutes on a low to medium flame. Take it out in a bowl.
  2. Add the cardamom powder, saffron milk and powdered sugar, mix it well.
  3. Make a small ball from the mawa, place it in the modak mould and press the mould to prepare modaks.

My Tip:

When the mawa is luke warm add sugar to it.
