Ingredients to make Soya seekh kabab

  • potato boiled and mashed 1 cup
  • Boiled soya granules 3/4 cup
  • Chopped coriander 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chillies 2
  • ginger-Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Kasoori methi 1/2 tsp
  • gram flour 3-4 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • chilli powder 1 tsp
  • lime juice 1 tbsp

How to make Soya seekh kabab

  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix it well together.
  2. Take a lump from this mixture, apply it around the skewer (presoaked) with greased hands.
  3. Heat a non stick pan and shallow fry these kebabs till it turns into a golden colour.
  4. Sprinkle some chat masala over the kababs.
  5. Serve them hot with mint chutney, onion and lemon wedges.

My Tip:

Soak the wooden (satay) sticks in water for 15-20 mins. On doing this it will not burn while cooking.
