Ingredients to make Bottle gourd dal curry

  • bottle gourd [chopped] 1
  • moong dal 1cup
  • turmeric powder 1tspn
  • salt
  • tomato [chopped] 2
  • Small onion 10
  • Dry red chillies 5
  • mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • refined oil
  • sambhar powder - 1 tsp

How to make Bottle gourd dal curry

  1. HEAT A PRESSURE COOKER PAN WITH SOME OIL. ADD MUSTARD SEEDS FOLLOWED BY THE BOTTLE GOURD PIECES. THEN ADD THE WASHED AND SOAKED MOONG DAL.
  2. MIX WELL AND THEN ADD REST OF THE VEGETABLES, SPICES AND SALT.
  3. COOK FOR FEW MINUTES AND THEN ADD REQUIRED AMOUNT OF WATER.
  4. CLOSE THE LID AND COOK FOR 4-5 WHISTLES OR UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COOKED, OPEN THE LID AND CHECK FOR SEASONING, SERVE HOT.
