Maa choliya di daal/ langarwali daal

Ingredients to make Maa choliya di daal/ langarwali daal

  • split black lentils 1/2 cup
  • split gram lentils 1/2 cup
  • onian 1 chopped
  • ginger 1 inch chopped
  • tomato 2 chopped
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tspn
  • coriander powder 1/2 tspn
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  • ghee 100 gm
  • asafoetida 1/2 tspn

How to make Maa choliya di daal/ langarwali daal

  1. wash both lentils well
  2. in a cooker add ghee. add onion. ginger and fry add tomatoes. cook till become mashy
  3. add all the dried spice powder add daal and sufficient water add salt
  4. Cook over high flame till one whistle then on low flame . cook gm for 45 minuets.
  5. after steam release mix it well with wooden stapula. serve with naan or lacha parautha
