Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram daal ( chana daal)- 1/4 cup
  2. Black lentil( urad daal )-3/4
  3. Onion - one chopped
  4. Tomatoes- two chopped
  5. Green chillies - 2-3
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  7. Salt - as per taste
  8. Red chili powder- 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder- 1 tsp
  10. Corriander pw- 1 tsp
  11. Cumin seed - tsp
  12. Garam msala- 1 1/2tsp
  13. Corriander leaves 2 tbsp
  14. Oil or ghee- 2to 3 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash the both daal properly and soak in the water for half an hour.
  2. Take a pressure cooker put 4 to 5 cups water when water hot add daal with salt and turmeric .
  3. Close the cooker ..after four to five whistle low the gas for ten minutes.and off the gas.
  4. For tadka take a pen add oil or ghee add cumin seed then add onion when onion will transparent add ginger garlic paste..
  5. Add tomatoes and rest of masala mash it properly..then add little daal in it...and after put tadka in cooker .add the water accordingly...
  6. Put on the low flame for 5 to 10 minutes .add corriander leaves..
  7. Serve with rice n roti..
