About Panch misali daal Recipe

A protien rich dish for all ages. The five types of dal are healthy and nutritious. The dish is very good and healthy.

Panch misali daal

Ingredients to make Panch misali daal

  • Toohar daal 1/4 cup
  • Moong chilka daal 1/4 cup
  • Urad dhuli daal 1/4 cup
  • Masoor daal 14 cup
  • chana daal 1/4 cup
  • ghee 2 tablespoon
  • cloves 4 pc
  • Small elaichi 4 pc
  • jeera 1/2 tablespoon
  • hing 1 teaspoon
  • One bayleaf,two dry red chili
  • haldi 1/4 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon

How to make Panch misali daal

  1. Soak daal 2 hours
  2. Add haldi 1/2 tablespoon
  3. Add salt 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Add ghee 1 tablespoon
  5. Cook medium flame two to three whistle
  6. The daal is now ready
  7. For the tadka - Heat the pan
  8. Put 2 tablespoon ghee
  9. Add jeera
  10. Add hing
  11. Add red chili powder and dried red chilli
  12. Add small elaichi
  13. Add cloves
  14. Now pour the tadka over the dal
  15. Serve it with roti or rice or bati or churma.

My Tip:

The dal should be soaked for minimum 2 hours for good result.
