Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 5 Bread slices
  2. 1/2 cup Ghee
  3. For Sugar Syrup: 1/2 cup sugar
  4. 1/2 cup water
  5. For Rabri: 1 lt full fat milk
  6. 1/2 cup sugar(adjust)
  7. 1/4 tsp cardamom
  8. Few saffron strands
  9. 4 tbsp chopped almonds
  10. 2 tbsp pistachios

Instructions

  1. Prepare Rabri - boil milk. Add sugar and cardamom. Mix well. Reduce to 1/4 quantity, add saffron strands, mix well and simmer for 3-4 minutes.Keep it aside
  2. For Sugar syrup: Take sugar in saucepan, add water. Boil until it reaches one string consistency. Keep aside
  3. Trim bread edges and cut into triangles. Shallow fry the bread in ghee until golden brown.
  4. Soak bread in sugar syrup for 3 minutes. Pour Rabri in serving plate, transfer the soaked bread to serving plate. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve
