Coconut Kali Mirch Chicken

Ingredients to make Coconut Kali Mirch Chicken

  • 1kg chicken
  • 2cup cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
  • A pinch of fenugreek seeds
  • 2tsp cashew paste
  • A pinch of kasturi methi
  • 2tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2cup curd
  • 1/2 black pepper powder
  • 1/2 black pepper corns
  • salt to taste
  • oil
  • 1/2tsp garam masala
  • 1/2cup milk
  • 2 onion boiled and puree

How to make Coconut Kali Mirch Chicken

  1. Marinate chicken with curd, salt pepper, garam masala and ginger garlic paste and shallow fry them on tawa.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add fenugreek seeds, saute onion puree for a minute until oil separates.
  3. Add cashew paste and coconut and cook with little water if required
  4. Add salt and peppercorns, some ginger garlic paste and garam masala
  5. Add chicken and little water and cook for 5minuts.
  6. Switch of the flame and now add heavy cream and kasturi methi to it.
