About Rajasthani Hari Dana Methi Papad ki Sabzi Recipe

Methi papad is one of the most popular rajasthani sabzi which is very delicious and easy to make. I used green methi dana which i brought from Jaipur. It can also be made with our normal yellow methi dana.

Rajasthani Hari Dana Methi Papad ki Sabzi

Ingredients to make Rajasthani Hari Dana Methi Papad ki Sabzi

  • Green or yellow Dana methi 4 tbs
  • Fried papas 2
  • water
  • salt
  • red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Dhanya jeera powder 1 tsp
  • Aamchur powder 1/2 tsp
  • jaggery small pieces

How to make Rajasthani Hari Dana Methi Papad ki Sabzi

  1. Soak methi seeds for half hours.
  2. I used green methi seeds yellow methi seeds can also be used.
  3. Cook the soaked methi seeds in cooker and make 3 whittle
  4. Add oil in a heated pan add mustard seeds, asafoetida, red chili and turmeric powder.
  5. Add boiled methi and water.
  6. Add Aamchur powder.
  7. Add Jaggery. And red chilli powder, turmeric, salt and Dhanya Jeera powder.
  8. Give sabzi a good boil.
  9. Add fried papas pieces.
  10. Methi papas sabzi is ready to serve with roti.

My Tip:

You can add uncooked papad. Curd is also added for different variation.
