About Gulab Lassi Recipe

Lassi is the staple drink of Punjab. Churned yoghurt flavored with rose syrup and loaded with the goodness of dry fruits is a perfect summer refreshing drink. In Punjab lassi is served in their traditional brass ware tall glass. Often accompanied or followed by a lavish meal.

Gulab Lassi

Ingredients to make Gulab Lassi

  • yogurt/ Thick curd - 300ml
  • water - 1 cup
  • sugar - as needed
  • rose syrup - 1 tbsp
  • cashews chopped - few for garnish
  • rose petals - optional
  • Ice cubes - plenty

How to make Gulab Lassi

  1. Add curd, sugar and rose syrup in a pitcher or large mixing bowl and blend till sugar dissolves
  2. Add ice cubes in a serving glass and pour in the lassi prepared.
  3. Garnish with some chopped cashews and rose petals.
  4. Serve chilled
